Ruxton and Riderwood are unincorporated communities in Baltimore County, Maryland, United States. They are sometimes considered a part of Towson and are part of Towson's census area.
The boundaries of Ruxton have been established largely by local custom. Both the eastern boundary, Charles Street, and the western, Falls Road, are generally agreed upon. The northern and southern boundaries are somewhat imprecise. To the north and northwest, affiliation with Ruxton follows Joppa Road, the Old Court Road extension alongside the Jones Falls Expressway (I-83), and finally Ruxton Road to its intersection with Falls. A southern boundary can be discerned by drawing a crude line from the southerly intersection of Bellona Avenue (MD-134) and Charles to the intersection of West Lake Avenue and Falls. Riderwood's northern boundary is generally agreed upon as the Baltimore Beltway (I-695). To the southwest, south, and east, affiliation with Riderwood follows Joppa Road from its overpass of the Beltway to its bridge over Charles Street and along Charles Street to its interchange with the Beltway.

Great experience from start to finish in dealing with Apex and Andy. The proposal came in a LOT lower than two competitors. I did my homework to compare the roofing products Apex was using, and it was all top of the line. The workmanship from the roofers was excellent and fast. (I also had Apex replace some rotting wood framing on my front porch. Great work on that, and again at a price I could not turn down. Saved me a lot of work and time for me to do it myself.) Cleanup was great as well. Apex and Andy are exactly what I want in a contractor (very rare these days in my experience). He provided a great product, installed it correctly, quickly and at a great price. You can't ask for more than that!

Andy was responsive and courteous in all of my interactions with him and was able to get his tech out to repair my roof just 3 days after initial contact. They went the extra step to replace a few missing shingles that were not part of the work order as well, showing their genuine care and attention to detail. Professional, to the point, efficient. There was no beating around the bush with Apex. Andy gave us an honest evaluation of our roof and a competitive price. We got all the great warranties that come with using Timberline shingles, and Andy’s team is all licensed and certified for installing. Andy of Apex roofing was great to work with. His crew examined our roof and determined that it had sustained storm damage. He was able to provide assistance for us in dealing with our insurance company to get the work done. Once approved, the APEX crew arrived on time and did an excellent job of removing the old roof down to the plywood while keeping the house tarped to prevent damage while removing the old roofing material. The Apex crew was GREAT. They worked efficiently and hard in the hot weather. They completed the job and did a spectacular job of cleaning up. Walking the complete site with blowers, magnets and personnel to cleanup any debris or nails that had missed the protective tarps. When they were done you couldn’t tell they had even been here except for the new beautiful and functional roof that was now installed. We were very pleased with Apex and their work and would highly recommend them. P.S. the price was excellent also.

Apex Roofing and Exteriors was great to work with. Adam met with us to discuss the advantages of choosing Apex for our new roof and he was professional and courteous throughout the process. He was immediately available to answer any and all questions before, during and after the installation. They were able to do the new roof within a week or so after providing estimate. Kevin the foreman and team arrived promptly and worked hard for 8 straight hours. Kevin stayed on site and supervised throughout the day. Some last minute repairs that were needed (damaged plywood) were handled immediately. The job was complete when left and everything was cleaned meticulously. You couldn’t tell they were there! I found this roofing company online and read through the many excellent reviews. After receiving an estimate which was better in terms of cost and warranty than two other companies, I hired Apex. Andy from Apex responded quickly. So quickly I was surprised as other contacted agencies were not so obliging. Per one company, ours was not a priority due to what they considered a small job. We needed a new Black Bear shed roof, and fascia and soffits, as well as a house repair after we suffered from storm damage. Because they saw the weather was going to add to the damage soon, they sent a crew out within a couple of days and did both jobs extremely well. They were courteous and professional, and both jobs made the respective roofs look like new. I’m sure we will not under normal circumstance have to utilize their warranties, but if we do I am also sure we will be pleased with the response.Our shed, by the way, was in terrible shape and it now is not only sturdy, but it’s no longer unsightly. . Excellent experience. Started at 7 Am and crew was cleaning up at 7:30 Pm that same day . I was amazed/ pleased with workmanship, skill and ability to remove shingles replace plywood that was suspect and put down a top quality job. Every aspect was professional and working as a team. Set up an appointment to get an estimate for some minor roof repairs. Two hours after the scheduled appointment I had to call to find out why no one had showed up. They said they were either busy or had forgotten and would send someone later that day. This person did arrive and looked at the roof and said I would have an estimate in a day or two. Eight days later and still nothing so I had to call to find where the estimate was. They appeared to have forgotten and weren't even sure which person had been to my house for the estimate. They promised I would receive the estimate that same day. That was five days ago. At this point I am giving up and will find a different company that conducts itself in a professional manner.

To anyone looking for a roofing company, I'd advise you to choose Apex R&E. You're wasting your time looking elsewhere. I wanted to be as careful as possible when choosing a roofer because we've all heard horror stories from somebody who had experienced a bad roof job.I was also lucky enough to watch a different roofing company work on my neighbors roof just a few weeks before I had mine done by Apex. The QUALITY of workmanship was literally night and day difference from the way they setup the working area in making sure all areas around the home were protected but also the level of detail they put into their work. Night and day difference from another company I had the pleasure of watching before I set out to find a company to take care of my very out-of-date roof. And the price is very fair.I was also very satisfied to the way Michelle and Andy handled the entire process from start to finish. Very pleasant people to work with and made this entire process so simple. I would absolutely recommend Apex roofing to the moon and back.

Apex roofing is super easy to work with. As a first-time home owner, I was a bit intimidated by the cost and amount of work required for a new roof. Andy/Apex roofing made it super easy, no joke. He shows up exactly when he says he and his crew will be arriving, and the work was done super quick. The cleanup was also amazing... Apex made getting a new roof practically effortless.

Did a great job on our new roof! My husband set everything up and said Andy was easy to work with. Andy was straightforward with the cost, which seemed very reasonable to us. We chose our roof color and he gave us a date and time. Our roof was replaced before our dinner time on the same day. The workers worked non stop and cleaned the area up once finished. We would recommend Apex to anyone in search of any roofing needs.

Adam was was so professional in the way he handled the whole process. It was stress free and we were so happy with the end result. We love our new roof and siding. Adam Glassman came right out to give me an estimate, which was very fair and close to the estimate from my insurance company. They were out the next week and got the roof installed in one day, which looks beautiful! They also did some siding repairs and did an excellent job of matching the colors. The customer service with each person I spoke with was excellent. Highly recommend!

Apex recently installed a new roof with plywood replacement , all new gutters and downspouts, ridge vents and demoed non-working/deteriating chimneys. If you are looking for a reliable and honest company that guarantees quality work, look no further. Adam came to our house to give us an estimate for what we wanted. Not only was he on time, he was very professional, personable and understood exactly what we wanted. He priced out quite a few options for us, as we were undecided if we wanted metal or shingle. Once we made up our minds, Adam was able to schedule our work in a timely fashion. The entire crew was wonderful. Very hard working and respectful of the property. The clean up was PHENOMENAL! There was not one nail in the driveway and all of the garden decor was even put back. During the process, both Adam and Andy showed up multiple times to check progress while maintaining communication. My husband and I could not be happier with the seamless quality, price and timing. Thank you Adam, Andy, Michelle and the entire crew for all of your hard work!

I have never been so pleased with a business. I've had so many bad experiences in the past. They gave me addresses of homes with different color Shingles, to see what I liked best.The didn't leave not one nail or depree behind. Best decision I've ever made.
